There are 18 graves within the War Cemetery of servicemen who were killed or died within the Parkes area - particularly those who were killed during training at the Parkes Royal Australian Air Force Training Base during World War Two.
The two Parkes soldiers killed during the Vietnam War - Captain Anatoly Danilenko and Private Douglas Roy James Powter - are interred in the Parkes General Cemetery.
