Inscription in Proximity

This display is to commemorate the bullockies and their teams who pioneered the timber industry in this area in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

'A place to meet on their journey`s way,
A place to rest at the close of day,
Sharing a billy and a tale to tell,
Midst the night time clanging of the ole bullock bell.'

This is a Lions Club of Crow`s Nest Project completed in April 2013 with the support of other community members and the sponsorship of the local Heritage Bank Community Branch
