The plaque commemorates the opening of the redeveloped Marion Hotel in October 2019.
In 2018 (20 years since the last renovation), the $20 Million major redevelopment on the Marion Hotel commenced, featuring 62 motel rooms — up from 12, new bottleshop, new bars, function rooms, a beer garden and two dining areas.
