12 - 6 - 1889
The Colonial Employers Association was registered with headquarters in Beech Street Barcaldine.
1890 named changed to Queensland Pastoral Employers Association.
1891 Word Central was prefixed and headquarters moved to Rockhampton.
These were the original forerunners of the United Graziers Association of Queensland and the Graziers Association of Central and Northern Queensland
The latter had its first meeting in Longreach in 1921.
