Dedicated to the early pioneer families of Nudgee.
The name of this park honours Wilhelmine Kruger nee Kunde (1858 - 1889) who together with her husband Herman and the surviving five of their six children lived and worked this land. Their farm extended from the corner of St Vincents and Redhill Roads, producing small crops and pineapples.
