Co-founder of the Australian Mineral Foundation

Exceptional sportsman and brilliant interpretive geologist.  Australian first and last. 

His was a determined and constructive contribution to this nation`s mining industry.

Basil`s ashes lie close to the main site of his final project involvement : The West of Scotland Shaft at Gympie
