Pulpit is dedicated to the long and distinguished ministry of Reverend Alexander Marshall (1888-1924).
Melbourne, Wednesday. Mrs William Weatherley, a member of the congregation of Scot's Church, has promised £1000 toward the cost of the reconstruction of the apse and pulpit of the church, which is to form a memorial to the late Doctor Marshall, minister of the church from 1888 until 1924 when he retired. Mrs. Weatherley is the widow of the late Mr William Weatherley, a pastoralist, who was one of the original shareholders in the Broken Hill mines. The congregation is being appealed to for an extra £550, the balance of the cost of the reconstruction work.
