The Gates at the entrance to Christ Church, West Goulburn were erected to in memory of Archdeacon Joseph Pike who died in 1947 and Registrar Ransome T. Wyatt who died in 1945.
Joseph Pike's ministry had extended over a period of 45 years. He was appointed Archdeacon of Goulburn in 1928.
Ransome T. Wyatt was registrar of the Goulburn Diocese for a period of 32 years. Two windows in St Saviour's Cathedral, Goulburn are dedicated in his memory.
