The tree commemorates Private Edwin Otis Moseley who was killed in action in World War One.  He was an officer of the National Bank and prior to enlisting was manager of the Kellerberrin Branch for some years.

News has been received of the death of Private E. O. Moseley whilst in action in France. Private Moseley was an officer of the National Bank, and prior to enlisting was stationed at Kellerberrin branch, where he had been manager for some years. He volunteered in October last, and was attached to the 27th reinforcements of the 16th Battalion. He was a son of Mr. F. A. Moseley, Registrar of the Supreme Court, and leaves a wife and one child.
