The stained glass window commemorates F. Jeffrey Sampson and P. Sampson and other men from Gladstone who died in service or were killed in action in World War One.
The window was presented by Mr. R. Sampson in memory of his two grandsons and others who died in World War One. The window was dedicated at the opening of the new Methodist Church in 1922 which is now the Uniting Church.
