The cabinet, containing memorabilia, commemorates Squadron Leader Harry Wright (1919-1991).
He survived seventy-eight Royal Air Force Bomber Command operations over Europe during World War Two. He became the Navigation Leader of No. 156 Squadron Royal Air Force in the Pathfinder Force.
He finished as a Squadron Leader and obtained the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.) for a night attack on Modane in September 1943, and the Bar to the DFC for a consistently ligh level of leadership and courage. He was also awarded the Distinghuished Flying Medal for a large number of missions over Germany and Italy.
