The stained glass window commemorates Peter Sibbit, a flight sergeant of the Royal Australian Air Force who died in action during World War Two. The window is also in memory of his comrades.
Peter Sibbit's birth name was Edward Moore Sibbit but he was commonly known as Peter. His father, Mr. W.J. Sibbit, was a member of the board of management of the Presbyterian Church.
Note: The Uniting Church was formerly the Scots' Presbyterian Church.
