The pulpit was erected by subscription to commemorate Corporal Henry Sadler who died of wounds at the Dardanelles during World War One.
A plaque has also been placed on the pulpit by the family in memory of Gunner Hec Sadler only brother of Harry who died in France during World War One.
A pulpit for St Matthews Church, East Geelong, erected by subscription to commemorate the sacrifice of his life at the Dardanelles by Corporal H. Sadler, is to be dedicated at a special service today.
