Webb Oval commemorates the services of Amos William Frank Webb to the City of Burnside as Mayor, Alderman and Councillor for 27 years.

An oval at Glenunga reserve was named Webb Oval yesterday by the Mayor of Burnside (Mr. G. J. H. Bolton) in "recognition of the sterling services given during Alderman A. W. P. Webb's 27 years with Burnside Council."
