To Commemorate His Second Visit To Perth
Plaque :
A tree was planted on this site by the Mayor of the City of Kagoshima, Japan during his visit to Perth in 1985 to acknowledge the sister-city relationship between perth and Kagoshima.
The tree was removed due to disease and a new tree was planted nearby in June 2010.
