The stained glass window commemorates Kathleen Simmons, the Headmistress of the Glennie School from 1966 to 1981 who died in 2015.
Former Headmistress of The Glennie School, Dr Kathleen Simmons was Headmistress from 1966 until the end of 1981, having already been a teacher at Glennie for 10 years. In her later years, she took a continuing interest in The School and even delivered the address at the community service (held in the Assembly Hall) to commemorate the Centenary in 2008.
