The sculpture "Saxophone" commemorates the contribution of the Reverend Jim Stonier who was the founder and patron of the St. Alban`s Art Committee of The Southport School.
Reverend Jim Stonier spent 44 years serving on the Gold Coast in a number of roles, and is especially recognised for his contribution to the education sector, having being a Chaplain and teacher for over 38 years at The Southport School and Somerset College, where his wife also taught.
