Jessica Andrews Place commemorates Jessica Andrews, a teacher at the Our Lady`s College, who tragically died in 2010. Jessica helped design the children's playground.

This playground has been named in honour of Mrs. Jessica Andrews of Annerley. As a teacher at nearby Our Lady`s College, Jessica dedicated her professional life to encouraging and educating young women.
As a mother, she was instrumental in helping to design the new children`s playground in this park for her children and those throughout the district. Jessica passed tragically and suddenly in 2010 but will always be remembered for her contribution to improving the lives of children in our community.
