Memorial Gates For Willunga.
Willunga, Sept. 11.
Wrought iron gates, set in marble walls and pillars, erected as an entrance to the Willunga recreation opened on September 20 by the chairman of the Willunga District Council (Mr. B. St. J. Proctor). The entrance was built as a memorial to the late Rev. E. K. Miller, who founded the recreation ground in 1875, and the late Mr. Frank L. Aldam, who presented to the parks committee the land on which the gates now stand. The opening ceremony will be combined with a soap box derby, a carnival on the oval, and a demonstration of midget car racing by members of the Racing Drivers' Association of SA.
