Three stained glass windows commemorate Thomas King Scott, and his wife Emmeline Baldock Scott. Thomas Scott died in 1889.

BUNINYONG NOTES. (FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT.) I have seen a letter received by a resident from Mr James Richmond, of Toorak, the donor of the handsome memorial window in the Presbyterian church in memory of the Mr T. K. Scott. In his letter Mr Richmond says “l am particularly pleased that the memorial window of my old friend gives pleasure to the congregation at Buninyong.” I may mention that the designer of the window, Mr James Ballantine, of Edinburgh, manufactured some of the finest windows in Scotland, all of them being works of art. Mr Ballantine comes of a good stock.

His father was a true artist, and also wrote some sweet verses. The words, “ like a blade o’ grass keeps its ain drap o’ dew, &c.,” were written by him for Mr Wilson, a famous Scottish singer of the forties. Many other small pathetic pieces were from his pen. In his letter, Mr Richmond expresses his pleasure at the taste, both in the design and coloring, of the artist. The friendship between Messrs T. K. Scott and Richmond was of 40 years’ standing.
