Served the Cue District Road Board and the Cue Shire Council for 45 years 1954 to 1999.
8 years as Deputy President
24 years as President 1971 - 1995
25 years on the Executive of the Country Shire Council of Western Australia representing Murchison Ward.

Collated, researched and identified the photographic history of the Cue District from 1882 to 1998 now displayed in the Shire Council Chambers.
She also gave continuous and long lasting support to the efforts made by Jim for the progress of local government and for the community of Cue.
