A time capsule was placed behind this plaque on Tuesday, 18 September, 1990 by the Mayor of Bellarine Rural City Council Cr. Bernie Knight to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the Municipality.
Residents of the future are requested to open the capsule on the 200th anniversary Friday, 18 September, 2065
