The band rotunda commemorates the Golden Jubilee of Maryborough in 1905.

The band rotunda erected in Prince's Park to commemorate the jubilee of Maryborough was opened on Wednesday evening when the Maryborough Band discoursed a programme of music. The mayor, Crs Pollard and Giddings made speeches, there being a large attendance of the public.

Erected to permanently commemorate Maryborough`s Golden Jubilee

The cast iron work of late Victorian architectural style was supplied by Robinson`s Soho Foundry.
