In memory of migrants to Australia
This monument was erected to remember and honour all migrants who have come to Australia from many parts of the world. Their hardship and perserverence have contributed to the growth and development of this nation of ours. A nation we can all be proud of. The migrant monument will be here for generations to come. Helping foster an appreciation and understanding in the meaning and courage of the migrant.

Opened by the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor of the City of Perth Ms Lisa Scaffidi and the President Of The Abruzzo Regional Council Dr Matteo Di Donato on 13 January 2008
