The annexe at the Town Hall commemorates the pioneers of Quorn and District.
QUORN, September 3.
Good progress has been made during recent weeks in the erection of a new cloakroom annex at the Quorn Town Hall. The exterior plastering has been completed and electric light, plumbing and other interior fittings are now being installed. The room, which will be dedicated to the pioneers of the Quorn district, will be opened by the wife of the chairman of the Kanyaka District Council (Mrs. J. Reid) during the Back to Quorn celebrations scheduled to begin on September 18. The secretary of the Pioneers Memorial Committee (Mr. J. McColive) said today that all ex-residents of Quorn are invited to attend the festivities.
