Planted In 1954 By Messrs. M. J. Kavanagh
And W. C. Bailey To Commemorate The
Spot Near Where Surveyor Woodgate
Made His Camp In 1858. The Stone On
Which This Plaque Is Mounted Is From
The First Stone Home Built In This
District By J. B. Hack In 1839.
