Centenary of Lock Print Page
The monument commemorates the centenary of Lock from 1914 to 2014.
The monument consists of stones from house ruins in the area. The corner bricks came from Adelaide and the bag elevator came from the Lock Museum. The scales were donated by the Sheridan brothers. The men, wheat bags and stack were made by Urocast in Adelaide. A time capsule was placed inside the base to be opened in 2064.
The monument is located in the Apex Park which was renamed Lock Community Park in 2014.
