The Arno Bay harbour berths were provided to help establish and sustain an aquaculture base within the region. Under agreement with Transport SA, priority for leasing of individual berths must be given to aquaculture operators.

The Arno Bay Boat Harbour (Commercial Section)
Was Constructed To Assist The Aquaculture Industry
To Establish At Arno Bay.
Originally Consisting Of 18 Berths,
A Loading Wharf And Entrance Channel,
It Was Completed In December 2005.
This Commemorative Plaque
Was Unveiled By The Federal Member For Grey
Hon. Barry Wakelin MP
Who Officially Opened The New Harbour
On 3rd February 2006
In The Presence Of Hon. Karlene Maywald,
SA Minister For Regional Development
And Mrs Judith Jackson,
Chairman District Council Of Cleve.
