Official Opening of Southern Cross Aquatic CentrePrint Page 
The plaque commemorates the official opening of the Southern Cross Aquatic Centre in November 2020.
The original pool serving residents living in and near Southern Cross was built in 1963, but its condition in recent years meant it was no longer fit for its purpose. The redeveloped aquatic centre included the replacement of the original swimming pool and the upgrading of associated facilities.
