Tree and plaque planted to commemorate the address given to the people of Australia in the Royal Botanic Gardens by United States President Bill Clinton in 1996.
The plinth also contains a Unity in Adversity plaque which condemns all acts of terrorism and the affirmation which was signed at Government House of the 15th November 2001.
