Over time the costs of maintaining this website have risen substantially (in fact they are probably larger than those of many companies who exist for profit). In the past we have borne all the costs associated with maintaining the website but we are now having difficulties in paying the monthly expenses.

A lasting memorial to Russell John Malone in recognition of his outstanding service to the Boort Community

Centenary of Federation Historic Walkway and Lake Management Project
This historic walkway, formerly known as Lovers Lane, was constructed by volunteers of the Boort Community to commemorate 100 years of Australian nationhood.
Funding was provided by the Federal Government, a bequest from Catherine Cochrane and the Boort Community
The Historic Federation Walkway was officially opened by Hon Dr Sharman Stone MP Member for Murray 15th May 2001
