This Olive tree was planted by His Worship the Mayor, Councillor Morris Hanna to commemorate the 2004 Athens Olympic Torch passing through the Marrickville Council area.
The Olive Tree, an international symbol of peace, was donated by the Hellenic Tribute Committee.
