The plaque commemorates 130 years of faithful service in the church from 1885 to 2015.

PORT BROUGHTON, September 30. The Primitive Methodist Connexion, lately established here, held two services on Sunday last in Mr. Malcolm's store, which were conducted the Rev. Mr. Wellington of Kadina. On Tuesday four memorial stones were laid by the Misses Gray, Dolling, Waters, and Allchurch, of their new church, which is being built by Messrs. Gray and Harris. In the evening a well-attended tea meeting was held in the railway goods-shed, followed by an illustrated lecture on " Uncle Tom's Cabin" by the Rev. Mr. Pithouse, of Victoria. The day's amounted to over £22.
