1863 Sesquicentenary Anniversary 2013
'The Year of Faith'

"We believe that this old and venerable structure of the parish has an
indispensable mission of great contemporary importance."

                  (Pope Paul VI)

To revere the memory of the parishioners who have gone before us.
"Inspired by their faith and perseverance, may each generation be blessed
with the faith and zeal to 'put but into the deep for a catch' "Duc in Altum"
(Lk5:4) These words ring out for us today, and they invite us to remember
the past with gratitude, to live the present with enthusiasm and to look forward to the future with confidence: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever."

(Blessed Pope John Paul 11 Jan. 2001)

Blessed by Peter Ingham D.D., Bishop of Wollongong on Sept. 29th 2013.
