Front Inscription

In memory of all children who suffered and of those who did not survive abuse in Church and State children`s  institutions and homes in Queensland.

"For there is nothing hidden, except that it should be made known ; neither was anything made secret, but that it should come to light." (Mark 4:2)

HAN and S.O.I.C.A. gratefully acknowledge the support and assistance of the Brisbane City Council and Queensland Government Department of Communities.

The Historical Abuse Network (HAN) and the Survivors of Institutional Child Abuse (S.O.I.C.A.)

This memorial statue was officially installed on 1st December 2004.

The project was proudly funded by the Queensland Government`s Gambling Community Benefit Fund
