Elvis Wall of FamePrint Page
The Elvis Wall of Fame and replica ‘Graceland’ gates are situated at Kelly Reserve and were erected to commemorates the pioneers of the Australian music industry. The Elvis Wall of Fame was opened in 1995 by Parkes Mayor Cr. Robert Wilson OAM.
In the second week of January every year, the town of Parkes in Central NSW comes alive to the sounds of hip-swivelling Elvis Impersonators and Tribute Artists. The 5 day Festival Program features a dazzling array of more than 150 individual events. Music fans gather on the first day of the Festival to celebrate the career of an Australian music legend and unveil a plaque in recognition of their achievements.
