50th Anniversary of the RotundaPrint Page
The plaque unveiled in 1988 celebrates the 50th year of the erection of the Rotunda.
The Memorial Park Scheme proposed by Norseman sub-branch R.S.L. to cost nearly £300 in the initial stages was agreed to by the Dundas Road Board at their monthly meeting. The garden scheme will comprise memorial tree planting, gravel walks, lawns and a band rotunda. The site is a reserve strip in the centre of main road approach from Kalgoorlie, near the police station and post office.

Memorial Park Rotunda
This plaque commemorates the 50th year of the erection of this rotunda.
It was opened on 25th June 1938 by Alfred Yates Esq. O.B.E.
The Chairman of the Road Board was Mr. V. H. Neville and his Secretary Mr. W. G. Kerr.
Materials were supplied by the Road Board and Labour by the Norseman Sub Branch of the RSL and the Norseman Brass Band.
