Plaque :
The Ardlethan Museum was opened on 9 March 2021 by both the Deputy Prime Minister, the Hon Michael McCormack MP and the Member for Cootamundra, Stephen Cooke.
This community building, that will house the treasures and memories of this region, is a fine example of cooperation by many parties. Funding was made available by the Australian Government through both the Local Roads and Community Infrastructre Program and the Drought Communities Programme.
The State Government contributed via the Stronger Country Communities Fund, whilst the Coolamon Shire Council managed the project on behalf of the Advance Ardlethan Committee.
This building is dedicated to all those who have contributed to the Ardlethan District and made it what it is today.
