The Cowell Foreshore Boat Ramp & Car Park before you is the result of the vision of a few, the hard voluntary work of many, for the benefit of all.
Started in 1964, known then as 'The Wallaroo Road`, over 40,000 cubic metres of rock & fill, 1200 tyres, over 4,000 volunteer hours, generous public donations, Government grants and Council co-operation have seen this ramp & surrounds develop & improve to its present stage.
