This rock, set here in concrete bearing the crests of
the Australian Army, Royal Australian Navy, Royal Australian
Air Force and the Australian Merchant Marine, is a memorial
to those who served this country in war and peace, in those
services, and who, through that service paid the supreme
sacrifice, or later, died of injuries or illness as a result
of that service.
This memorial is also dedicated to the Returned and Service
members, past and present, of the Bowraville and District
Ex-Services Club Ltd.
Be it known, this is a Memorial to sacrifice and suffering,
to bravery and honour and to God Almighty, that those
to whom this memorial is dedicated may be taken into
the Kingdom of the Lord whence they may rest in
peace and honour !
