This plaque was laid commemorating the establishment of a flagmast on Warland Reserve.
The Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral M W Hudson A.O. R.A.N. commanded the flagraising on Saturday 18 October 1986, on the occasion of the Victor Harbor Heritage Festival in the 75th Anniversary Year of the formation of the Royal Australian Navy.
