5 SQUADRON AND 100 SQUADRON
DEDICATED TO THE AIRMEN OF THESE AND ALL OTHER UNITS OF THE ROYAL AUSTRALIAN AIR FORCE WHO SERVED AND WERE STATIONED AT MAREEBA AIR FIELD DURING THE PERIOD 1942 - 1945.
THESE SQUADRONS AND ALL ASSOCIATED UNITS
HELPED STEM THE JAPANESE ADVANCE.
