The wall commemorates Victory in the Pacific and the end of World War Two.

"Australia Remembers, 1945-1995" was a program of activities organised by the Federal Government to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of World War Two.

This memorial wall was erected by the Mareeba Shire Council on behalf of the community 

Commemorates Victory in the Pacific and the end of World War II on August 15th 1945.

It is dedicated to those who served.
