Plaque :
R.A.A.F.
200 Liberator Special Duties Flight
Z Special Unit
Service Reconnaissance Department
Leyburn 1945
This stone stands in memory, a symbol of the strength, cohesion and endurance of all who faced the rigours and solitude of service here. For some, the glad adventure, its joy, its peril, perhaps an unknown end. For most, long unrewarding toil and often grief for those whose aims they served. All joined their several strengths and divers skills in a driving effort for the common cause.
Unveiled by His Excellency Sir Walter Campbell Q.C. Governor of Queensland
26th April 1987

Plaque :
This was only a little Unit, that was thrown into the fight,
An unobtrusive name they gave us we were called 200 Flight.
Yes, little in number, but big in heart were the members of this mob,
And every man in every trade did a fine and noble job.
