The hall commemorates those who died in service or were killed in action in World War Two.
A meeting of ratepayers of the Hyden ward of the Kondinin Road Board was held yesterday to adopt a constitution and elect a committee who are to go into the construction of a Hyden Memorial Hall. A loan of £5,000 has been raised by the road board to cover the cost of construction.
