Australia Remembers 1945-1995Print Page 
The memorial commemorates the 50th Anniversary of the end of World War Two those who served in World War Two.
It originally consisted of a stainless steel drinking fountain set on a concrete slab, beside the fountain is a granite boulder with a bronze plaque affixed to the face.
Note: As shown by the photo taken in 2014 the fountain has been removed.
"Australia Remembers, 1945-1995" was a program of activities organised by the Federal Government to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of World War Two.
