The Gulnare Memorial Institute commemorates those who served in World War Two. It was rebuilt as a war memorial after World War Two. 

Gulnare. Plans have been submitted for the re-building of the Institute. A men's committee and a ladies' auxiliary have been formed to raise funds for same.
