The car park commemorates Pilot Officer H. G. Norton, Sergeant T. J. H. Tregenza and those who served in World War Two.
Pilot Officer Norton was serving with 44 Squadron, Royal Air Force when Lancaster ED433 in which he was in, crashed near its target of Kasser in Germany on 3 October 1943.
