Nana Glen & District Roll of HonourPrint Page
The wooden roll of honour commemorates those from the District who served in World War Two.
The Nana Glen Parents and Citizens' Association, has made final arrangements for the Empire Day celebrations. A representative of the Returned Soldiers' League, will be asked to unveil the honour board, which is to be hung temporarily in the school. After a picnic lunch, sports will be held in the school ground. Fruit and sweets will be given to all children. The association decided to affiliate with the Coff's Harbour District Council of P. and C. Associations, and two delegates and a deputy were elected to attend the meetings.
