St Augustine`s World War Two MemorialPrint Page
The Te Deum stained glass windows commemorate those who served in World War Two.
The Governor (Sir John Lavarack) will unveil the west window of St. Augustine's Church of England, Hamilton, at an 11 o`clock service on Sunday. The window has been erected by the parishioners of St. Augustine's parish in memory of those who gave their lives in the 1939-45 war, and as a thanks-offering for those who served. It consists of five separate windows, depicting the Te Deum. Archdeacon Birch will conduct the service.
